Job summary

Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, is seeking a part-time facilities employee to support light maintenance, custodial work, mail duties, and event setup/teardown. The role offers 15–25 hours per week with morning availability and requires flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HSED).
• 1 year of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or related trade.
• Excellent communication and professional conduct; strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facilities and identifies type and scope of facility repairs under guidance from the Asst. Dir. of Administration.
• Assists facilities department in coordination of office moves and event set-up/tear down.
• Performs mail room and shipping/receiving duties.
• Delivers packages or mail as needed.
• Performs custodial duties as needed.
• Performs light maintenance as directed by the Asst. Dir. of Administration.
• Assists facilities department with maintenance of student lockers.
• Serves as backup and fills in for other position during vacations, leaves, absences, etc.
