Job summary

Alila Napa Valley is seeking a part-time Shift Engineer I to cover swing, night, and weekend shifts. You will handle guest room, public area, and back-of-house maintenance, with emphasis on landscaping and irrigation systems. A background in troubleshooting and painting/staining is valued.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of building maintenance experience in hospitality or related field preferred.
Minimum 1 year of landscaping experience required.
Painting and staining skillset required.

Responsibilities

Maintain landscape areas and irrigation/drip systems.
Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment.
Complete maintenance requests and tickets promptly to Forbes standards.
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to minimize disruption.
Support preventative maintenance programs and special projects.
