Job summary

River Terrace Inn in Napa, California, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the Engineering Department and keep hotel facilities in excellent condition. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to guest service calls, and help execute preventive tasks to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of facilities maintenance or hotel engineering experience and a working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of facilities maintenance or hotel engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, painting, carpentry, and general systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to departmental schedules.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest service calls.
• Assist leadership and supervise maintenance staff as needed.
• Acting Department Manager responsibilities in the Chief Engineer's absence.
• Support guest satisfaction by timely repairs and professional communication.
