Job summary

AMHA in Akron, OH is seeking a Part-time Janitor for Summit Lake to maintain cleanliness of agency facilities, perform manual cleaning, minor maintenance, and grounds-keeping under supervision of the Property Manager.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows; replacing light bulbs; assisting with move-ins/outs; handling trash and reports; ensuring sites are NSPIRE-ready and safe for tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual cleaning tasks for agency facilities and common areas.
• Maintain floors, restrooms, windows and surfaces; operate basic cleaning equipment.
• Assist with minor maintenance, fixtures and grounds-keeping duties.
• Receive and follow work orders; help ensure sites are NSPIRE-ready.
