Job summary

Query Talent is partnering with a confidential parish in Wellesley, MA to hire a dependable Facilities Assistant to support daily care of buildings and grounds. This part‑time, onsite role offers approximately 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling for five 5‑hour shifts or three ~8‑hour shifts.

You will work alongside the Facilities Director to keep the parish campus safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for parishioners, staff, visitors, and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial services, or related fields welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily maintenance of buildings and surrounding grounds.
• Perform light maintenance and minor repairs.
• Support custodial tasks: clean common areas, restrooms, and manage trash.
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings and events.
• Assist with seasonal outdoor maintenance and grounds care.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Monitor facilities for safety concerns and report them.
• Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned.
