Job summary

Whitin Community Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Part-Time Cleaning Attendant to maintain cleanliness across classrooms, locker rooms, pools and common areas. The role reports to the Facilities Director and requires reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restocking supplies, operating basic cleaning equipment, assisting with event setups, and documenting maintenance needs while complying with health and safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Six months or more of related experience, preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Ability to work part-time with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas including classrooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, pool and gym.
• Perform disinfecting and sanitizing per health guidelines.
• Assist with setups and takedowns for events and rentals.
• Record and report needed repairs and maintenance requests.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools as required.
• Adhere to safety rules and supervision instructions.
• Maintain grounds seasonally and assist with security checks during closing.
