Job summary

Mass General Brigham Express Care is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for 25 hours per week at 480 Lynnfield Street, Lynn, MA. The role supports clinical and non-clinical patient services under supervision, including taking vital signs and assisting clinicians.

On-call shifts, weekend coverage, and overtime may be required to ensure continuous patient care. Experience as a Medical Assistant (1–2 years) is desired; an Associate’s degree is preferred and CMA/BLS credentials are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Basic Life Support and CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and document patient information.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Explain procedures and patient instructions to patients.
• Perform general office duties and coordinate with other departments.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy if competent.
• Maintain immunisation inventory and check expiry dates.
