Job summary

Granville Area Chamber of Commerce seeks an energetic Executive Director to lead the organization, grow membership, and advance local business advocacy. You will shape strategy, strengthen partnerships, and elevate the Chamber's presence across the Granville community and online.

The role requires a dynamic leader with a track record in marketing, revenue development, and stakeholder engagement, plus comfort speaking publicly and guiding volunteer boards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience (nonprofit, business, hospitality, or economic development).
• Strong marketing, communications, or brand development background.
• Experience with strategic planning and execution.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Experience working with a board of directors.
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth or membership models.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Board to develop and implement a 3–5 year strategic plan.
• Drive membership recruitment, retention, and engagement and sponsorships.
• Lead modern marketing and communications, including social media and website content.
• Engage with local businesses and civic leaders, represent the Chamber at events.
• Manage day-to-day operations, budgeting, and financial oversight.
