You will advise the Board, foster collaborations among member agencies, and mentor staff while ensuring sustainable operations and long-term impact for resilient water systems in California.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of professional leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, business, or related field preferred.
• Experience with California water policy and governance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction to the client organization.
• Partner with the Board to drive strategic priorities and initiatives.
• Serve as advisor on California water issues and policy developments.
• Prepare briefs and boards-level material for decisions.
• Represent the organization with member agencies and stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration and consensus among diverse groups.
• Lead Board and committee meetings and ensure effective decisions.
• Support financial sustainability through budgeting and funding opportunities.
• Mentor and manage staff to execute strategy.
• Attend meetings and conferences statewide.
