Brown and Caldwell is seeking an Executive Director for a California nonprofit client focused on sustainable urban water solutions. This role is currently part-time with potential for full-time based on skills, experience, and business needs.

The ED will lead the organization, partner with the Board, represent the client at meetings across California, and mentor staff to advance the mission and strategy. Strong government/stakeholder relationships and policy acumen are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a related leadership role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in a technical, business, or related field.
• Experience with water policy or urban water management is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction to support the client organization's mission and long-term objectives.
• Partner with the Board to develop, implement, and advance strategic priorities, goals, and initiatives.
• Represent the organization with member agencies, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders across California.
• Lead Board and committee meetings, fostering engagement and effective decision-making.
• Mentor staff and ensure financial and operational sustainability.
