Job summary

Penn State University is seeking part-time exam assistants for Student Disability Resources (SDR). Exams occur in person, with hours varying daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position pays $14 per hour with a per diem cap of 24 hours per week.

Job Description And Position Requirements

Student Disability Resources (SDR) is hiring part-time exam assistants. Hours will vary daily, between 8:00 am – 10:00 pm (Monday – Friday). The hourly rate is $14 – Per Diem—maximum 24 hours per week.

Exams will be held in person. Responsibilities include administering exams, being alert and observant during exams, respecting the confidentiality of the SDR department and students receiving accommodations, and maintaining the integrity of the testing environment. Must be comfortable with in-person (only) proctoring.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and the National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR). Additional clearances may be necessary if you resided outside of Pennsylvania in the past five years.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
