Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Laramie is hiring part-time Event Staff for college football events, concerts, and venues. You will greet guests, usher seating, collect tickets, and help keep venues safe and welcoming.

We offer flexible schedules under 30 hours/week, weekly pay at $16.38/hour, and paid training. Ideal for students, recent grads, or anyone seeking supplemental income while gaining experience in guest services and event operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required; Driver’s Record check may be needed.
• Be professional, articulate and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Directs entry into venues; may collect/scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic.
• Understands venue policies, procedures and regulations for different events.
• Gives guests a genuine, friendly greeting on arrival and a sincere thank you upon departure.
• Provides guests with directions/suggestions to enhance their experience.
• Interacts with guests in a friendly tone and clear, natural speaking voice.
