Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Staff to support Lamar University events. You will welcome and usher guests, collect tickets, and help maintain a safe, enjoyable experience for attendees. Training is provided and you can start with no prior experience; the job offers flexible, part-time hours and weekly pay.

Starting pay is $14 per hour, with opportunities to assist at stadiums, concerts and conventions. Benefits and perks vary by role and hours worked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, articulate, and able to use independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and usher guests as they arrive at the venue.
• Collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges.
• Direct foot traffic and assist guests with directions.
• Ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of assigned areas.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service throughout events.
