Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Nashville, TN is hiring part-time event security staff to check bags, enforce access control, and deliver superior guest service.

You will assist with event day preparation, verify tickets and wristbands, screen guests with metal detectors or wand, and respond to crowd issues to keep guests safe and enjoying the show. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a HS diploma, pass background and drug screening, and can work evenings or weekends with reliable communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Manage entry flow: verify tickets, wristbands, badges, and direct traffic.
• Screen guests at entry using bag search, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by watching for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand venue policies and regulations for various events.
• Provide a positive front-facing experience at facility entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions to enhance guests' entertainment experience.
