Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Miami, FL is seeking Premium Event Security for part-time roles with flexible scheduling. You will help safeguard guests and staff while delivering courteous service at sports arenas, concerts, and conventions.

No experience is required, but must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background check and drug test. A current FL security license is preferred; weekly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test will be completed; additional screening may be required if driving a company vehicle.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into each venue, verify tickets, direct traffic, and manage wristbands/badges.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by monitoring security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd-control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Demonstrate understanding of venue policies and procedures.
• Provide a positive experience for guests at facility entrances and concourses.
• Give guests directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
