Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring for Part Time Event Security in Orlando. The role involves checking bags, enforcing access control, and ensuring guest safety with strong customer service at sports venues and conventions.

Responsibilities include admission processing, screening, crowd control, and helping guests with directions to enhance their entertainment experience. Flexible hours and opportunities across events are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required per state/local laws.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Verify entry into venues, scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic.
• Screen guests during entry with bags search, metal detector or wand and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to potential crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand policies and procedures of different venues and events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances and concourses.
