Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring for Event Security in Miami, FL. The role pays $20 per hour on a part-time basis with flexible scheduling and weekly pay. No experience is required, and candidates must meet licensing requirements where applicable.

You will enforce access control, assist with bag checks and tickets, and ensure a safe, enjoyable guest experience at venues. Essential duties include pre-event prep, entry control, screening, and responding to security issues while upholding

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required.
• Ability to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Control entry, verify tickets, wristbands and badges, and direct traffic.
• Screen guests at entry with bags, metal detectors, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and venue assets from security breaches.
• Respond to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Understand and apply venue policies and regulations.
• Provide a positive guest experience at entrances and concourses.
• Offer directions and recommendations to enhance guest enjoyment.
