Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Nashville is seeking motivated part-time Event Security personnel to support venues with crowd control, access checks, and guest safety. Earn $20 per hour with weekly pay and flexible evenings/weekends.

No experience required—Dallas Law Certified and a current guard card are preferred; training is provided. This role is ideal for students, parents, or anyone seeking extra income with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol testing required; additional screening may be required.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Check bags, verify wristbands and IDs, and direct entry flow at venues.
• Screen guests with bags, wand or detector and verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring for security breaches.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and provide escorts when needed.
• Follow policies and venue rules and communicate with guests effectively.
• Provide directions and assistance to enhance guest experience.
