Job summary

iHeartMedia Markets in Providence, RI is seeking a part-time Promotions & Events team member to support planning, execution, and on-site leadership for local events. You will coordinate logistics, collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Marketing, and engage listeners and clients to amplify brand experiences.

Ideal candidates will manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating local events and promotions.
• Excellent communication and public engagement skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of local events and promotions that align with branding and client objectives (concerts, activations, live broadcasts).
• Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, staffing, signage, giveaways, and technical needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Marketing to develop integrated promotional campaigns.
• Serve as on-site lead during events, ensuring smooth execution and professional representation of iHeartMedia.
• Engage with listeners and clients to create memorable brand interactions and gather feedback.
• Maintain promotional inventory and ensure materials are prepped and transported as needed.
• Support digital and social media efforts by capturing content and promoting events across platforms.
• Track and report on event performance (attendance, engagement, client satisfaction).
