Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Parking Supervisor for the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, IA. This part-time, event-based role leads Parking Attendants, coordinates traffic and parking operations, and ensures safe, customer-focused service during events and daily operations.

The position pays $18.00 per hour and offers 401(k) savings with matching. Regular season runs September through May; open until October 16, 2026. The job supports ADA compliance and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in parking, transportation, hospitality, or event operations preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Oversee event-day operation of parking facilities and parking/traffic activity.
• Supervise, direct, and support Parking Attendants.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, attendance monitoring, and performance oversight.
• Monitor parking operations during events to ensure safe and efficient vehicle movement.
• Implement traffic flow plans and adjust staffing and operations as needed during high-volume events.
• Provide excellent customer service and promptly resolve parking-related concerns and complaints.
• Monitor parking equipment, access systems, signage, and facility conditions; report maintenance and operational issues.
• Assist with oversight of parking credentials, permits, validations, and operational reporting.
• Ensure proper use of cashless payment systems and assist customers with payment-related issues.
• Support ADA compliance and maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
• Maintain communication with event staff, security personnel, and other departments to support successful event operations.
• Assist with incident documentation and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Perform hands-on operational duties as needed to support parking activities.
