Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking an Event Security team member for RiverPark Center in Owensboro, KY. This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $20 and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends and select holidays.

Responsibilities include responding to security issues, conducting safety inspections, and guiding staff and guests through security procedures. Candidates should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends, and select holidays, is required.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)
• Performs all event and non-event security duties as assigned
• Conducts building safety inspections (normally pre-event and post-event safety checks)
• Admits building staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors, and guests to the facility according to established security procedures.
• Answers information requests from staff and guests during events or as needed.
• Protects equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.
• Provides regular security functions within the arena and related areas, prior to, during, and after all events.
• Receives, records, and returns all lost and found items according to established team procedures.
• When requested, provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the facility
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
