Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Cook to support the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. This hands-on role assists the Sous Chef/Food & Beverage Manager in preparing food for events according to approved recipes and high production standards for catering and concession service.

The position requires flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays tied to event schedules, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and consistent quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One-year culinary certificate preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience as a cook.
• Experience in banquet operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes as directed and in accordance with Chef's specifications.
• Cook and package batches of foods for concession stand service.
• Wash, cut, and portion ingredients for meals.
• Maintain high sanitation and safety standards in work areas.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as fryers, grills, stoves, ovens.
• Follow SAVOR and ASM Global rules and procedures.
• Regular attendance and dependability are essential.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
