Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a part-time Cook at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center in Concord, NC. You will assist the Sous Chef in preparing food for events, following approved recipes and maintaining high production standards for catering and concession service.

The role requires flexibility for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, with duties including prep, cooking, portioning, sanitation, and inventory control. 1 year of cooking experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previously cooked in a fast-paced kitchen or banquet setting.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion control.
• Knowledge of health codes and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes as directed and in accordance with Chef’s specifications.
• Cook and package batches of food for concession service.
• Maintain sanitation and inventory of workstation; monitor temperatures.
