Community Health Resources (CHR) is seeking a Youth Worker for the Rose Center program in Norwich, CT. This part-time role (16 hours/week) requires Friday-Saturday evenings (4pm-12am) and offers opportunities to engage with youth in crisis, provide supportive behavioral health interventions, and coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with a relevant youth population preferred.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• High School diploma or better required; higher degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical environment and program standards.
• Monitor self-administration of client medications per agency policy.
• Collaborate with co-workers and clients using effective communication.
• Teach residents activities of daily living.
• Assist with administrative tasks as directed.
• Plan and facilitate educational groups and individual interventions.
• Coordinate care with providers and families.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with standards.
• Participate in meetings, supervision, trainings.
• Perform additional duties as required.
