Community Health Resources (CHR) seeks a Youth Worker for a part-time role in Coventry, CT. The position supports a 24-hour staffed group home for the care and treatment of youth aged 13–18 with trauma histories.

The role includes supervising residents, ensuring safety, administering medication policies, and coordinating family and clinical care as directed by the treatment plan. Driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience working with a relevant population preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degrees are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the physical environment and program standards.
• Monitor self-administration of client medications per policy.
• Collaborate with co-workers and clients using appropriate communication tools.
• Teach daily living and development activities in groups or one-to-one.
• Assist administrative tasks under supervisor guidance.
• Prepare and lead educational and skills-building sessions as planned.
• Coordinate care with providers and families as needed.
• Address residents' medical and psychiatric needs and document accordingly.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Perform additional duties as required.
