Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is seeking compassionate caregivers in Minnesota to support individuals with developmental disabilities. This part-time role offers evening and weekend shifts (Thu/Fri 2pm-10pm and alternating weekends, plus alternating Saturday/Sunday 8am-8pm).

As a caregiver, you’ll help with personal care, promote independence, and assist with daily activities, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. A HS diploma and a genuine desire to help others are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and engage in preferred activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
