Job summary

Rosecrance is seeking an entry-level Unit Specialist for the Women’s Center in Sioux City, IA. You will supervise clients in our residential program, support the therapeutic milieu, and facilitate education and community groups as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This role offers growth toward CADC certification while gaining experience in the substance use and mental health field, with on-site, 2nd shift hours and part-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and email.
• Adhere to prescribed work hours set by leadership and fulfill additional hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients in the residential treatment program.
• Oversee the therapeutic milieu and provide client support.
• Administer medications and transport clients to events as needed.
• Facilitate education and community groups.
• Coordinate and deliver lectures for clients, parents, and community resources.
• Maintain client service records in compliance with laws and regulations.
