Job summary

John Knox Village of Central Florida is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to support residents' well‑being by coordinating and delivering engagement opportunities across physical, social, intellectual, spiritual, and nutritional activities.

The role involves preparing communications, driving local outings, coordinating clubs and events, working evenings for a 20-hour weekly schedule, and upholding privacy and safety while fostering connections within the community.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in an assisted living community or similar environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable computer applications and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver resident engagement programs per standards and residents' needs.
• Post daily announcements and communicate activity schedules; encourage participation.
• Prepare and distribute the monthly resident newsletter and activity calendar.
• Drive a JKV vehicle for outings and appointments.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site social engagement and group activities.
• Assist with Resident Council meetings and respond to resident and family needs.
