Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support a high-speed mailing machine processing customers' daily letters and flats.
• Be responsible for one side of the machine's output, clearing jams and loading postal mail containers.
• Notify the machine operator immediately if there is a problem affecting throughput, coding, or marking.
• Sweep machine bins, ensure proper facing and clear addressing; be familiar with USPS templates.
• Prepare full mail trays with sleeves and tray tags; replace worn tags and load trays to conveyor.
• Keep walkways clear and free of debris; assist operator as needed to maintain throughput.
