Job summary

City of Coral Springs is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to support the Neighborhood Parks Division. You will close park facilities, inspect for safety issues, perform basic landscape tasks, and assist with city events, working evenings Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED (preferred) and a valid Florida driver’s license. The role contributes to keeping 49 parks, 6 athletic fields, and various pavilions clean and safe,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the work and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Close park facilities.
• Inspect facilities for safety issues.
• Perform basic landscape maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Complete daily logs and weekly inspections.
• Assist with events and other assigned duties.
