Job summary

The City of Doral is seeking a part-time Park Assistant to help maintain park facilities, support City-sanctioned events, and enforce park rules. The role includes assisting with event setup/breakdown and upholding safety standards at park sites.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, be 18 or older, and hold a valid Florida driver’s license. English fluency is required; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• Florida Driver's License with clean record required.
• Camp instructor or related training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of buildings/grounds.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of City events and activities.
• Inspect parks to ensure public safety and enforce park rules.
• Identify and repair safety hazards.
• Answer department phones and assist customers.
• Enforce park rules and administer first aid as needed.
• General park maintenance including cleaning, restrooms, concession areas.
