Job summary

Sunnyside Care Center is seeking a part-time nursing assistant/registered to support residents with daily living activities and nursing care as outlined in each resident’s plan of care. The role involves collaboration with the activities department, family contact, and multiple shifts across the facility.

The candidate must complete a Minnesota-approved 75-hour CNA program, read and write English proficiently, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Minnesota-approved 75-hour CNA program.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Background study form completion and clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as per care plan.
• Record vital signs and report changes to nurse.
• Support resident mobility, feeding, grooming, and hygiene tasks.
• Respond to call lights and assist with transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Participate in in-service education and facility safety procedures.
• Promote resident rights and provide compassionate end-of-life support.
