Job summary

Brooke Grove Retirement Village in Olney, MD is seeking a Part-Time CNA/Med Tech to join our Resident Services team. The role requires evenings or nights and every other weekend availability.

Compensation ranges from $19 to $21 per hour, based on experience, with the opportunity to assist residents with daily living activities and care plans. The position includes helping with dining, laundry, mobility, and medication assistance under nurse delegation, and participation in activities and safety

Qualifications

• CNA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in assisted living or elder care is helpful.
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes to supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming and daily living activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of the building and assist with light maintenance.
• Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Help with laundry and personal care as requested.
• Provide incontinent care and follow toileting schedules per plan.
• Monitor residents for comfort and safety; report changes.
• Assist with medication administration as directed by a nurse.
• Notify Home Leader or nurse about changes or incidents.
• Encourage participation in activities and assist with programs.
• Participate in behavioral interventions per service plan.
• Respond to life-saving situations per policies and protocols.
