Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a Part-time MRI Technologist to join the Kennestone Camp Creek Imaging Center. Evening shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–7:00pm, with sign-on bonus eligibility and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

You will perform a wide range of technical MRI procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and coordinate with clinicians while maintaining high quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience caring for patients.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required upon hire.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills essential.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures independently and safely.
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures with independent judgment and initiative.
• Position patients and prepare equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow pre- and post-procedure steps including Time Out and contrast safety.
• Ensure patient identification and privacy during exams.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to meet department goals.
