Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks an MRI Technologist for the Kennestone imaging center in Georgia. The role requires 1 year of clinical experience, ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification, and strong patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients; MRI preferred.
• Certification: ARMRIT or ARRT-MR required upon hire unless stated otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Performs wide range of MRI procedures with independence and clinical judgment.
• Sets up equipment and positions patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitors patient safety and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Transmits studies to PACS and prints CDs as needed.
• Maintains MRI suite in a safe and clean condition.
