Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for an evening shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) in Georgia. The role performs imaging studies, positions patients, and ensures safety and quality in diagnostics within the Diagnostic Imaging Services department.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, image acquisition, pre/post procedure care, and strict adherence to infection control, safety, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Requires completing exams with age-appropriate care per department procedures.
• Ability to obtain quality diagnostic studies with independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete clinical history and assess contraindications.
• Administer contrast media per policy to ensure patient safety.
• Verify patient identifiers and proper order prior to procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort during procedures.
• Prepare and position patients; operate imaging equipment safely.
