Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Edwardsville, KS is seeking a part-time Traffic Clerk (Evenings) to support inbound and outbound shipments. You will serve as the first contact for drivers, log cash when applicable, and coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure accurate documents.

You will verify product counts in the system and input data into the WMS scheduler. Ideal candidates have basic math and strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and drivers.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to work in various temperatures and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver assignments, checking in, assigning doors and checking out loads.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Receive, count and log cash received by carriers when applicable.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are accurate.
• Verify and count products in the system for data accuracy.
• Notify carriers and team members of pending or unscheduled arrivals.
• Enter data into the WMS scheduler and maintain records.
