Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring for a on-site dispatcher role in Kansas City. The position focuses on coordinating drivers, logging shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation with warehouse and transportation teams.

You will verify product counts, communicate with carriers, and enter data into the WMS scheduler to keep operations running smoothly in a temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required at some facilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English may be required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in cold or extreme storage temperatures while wearing PPE.
• May be required to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule and shift including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and direct driver’s assignments including check-in, door assignment, and check-out after load completion.
• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are accurate and timely.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
• Notify carriers and team members of pending, no-shows, or unscheduled arrivals.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.
