Job summary

Brethren Care Village is seeking a Kitchen Helper for an evening part-time role. You will prepare and portion foods, serve meals, assist in the dish room, and help with sanitation and inventory control. Qualifications

• Requires applicant to be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 10th grade education.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and food preparation.
• Serve Safe certified or willing to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food such as salads, desserts and vegetables in accordance with production sheets and recipes.
• Serves meals in Main Kitchen.
• Assists in the dish room.
• Puts stock away using FIFO.
