Job summary

Brethren Care Village seeks a part-time Housekeeping Aide for the Wellness Center, evenings (4pm–9pm) with one Saturday per month. Pay ranges from $12.50 to $14.30 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, following infection control policies, and maintaining safety and confidentiality. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident rooms, break rooms, nurse's stations, halls, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Respects confidentiality and residents' rights.
• Follows dress code according to department policies.
• Respects and shows kindness to all residents.
• Assures floors are free of hazardous debris.
• Practice good body mechanics in regards to lifting.
• Protect and maintain all work areas in accordance with facility safety policies.
• Perform tasks such as wash over-the-bed lights, pictures and objects on walls, wall washing, baseboards, etc. as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
