Job summary

Brethren Care Village in Ashland, OH is seeking a Culinary Aide in Assisted Living. This role is available part-time or full-time, with day or evening shifts and no late hours. Pay ranges from $12.50 to $14.30 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age (work permit for under 18).

Responsibilities

• Perform kitchen duties including prep, labeling/date-storing, and equipment handling.

Culinary Aide in Assisted Living

What You\'ll Do as a Culinary Aide in Assisted Living:

• Dining room service, including serving residents, carrying residents\' trays and delivering/picking up trays from nursing carts.
• Performing tasks on a cleaning schedule, including trash disposal, dishwashing, and sweeping & mopping floors.
• Performing a variety of tasks in the kitchen, including prep work, ensuring proper food storage by labelling & dating food items, operating kitchen equipment, handling chemicals and cleaning equipment, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for a Culinary Aide in Assisted Living:

• At least 16 years of age (work permit required for employees under the age of 18)
• Customer Service skills preferred
• Prior food service experience preferred but not required
