Job summary

Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Part-Time Admission Coordinator for the Intake Department, 6 PM–6 AM with alternate 6 AM–6 PM. This onsite role supports psychiatric patient admissions, coordinating with physicians and Nursing leadership to ensure timely and accurate intake processing.

You will conduct intakes, complete forms, verify insurance, and maintain logs while contributing to a team focused on high-quality patient care and efficient admission workflows.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and data entry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organization and self-discipline to manage intake logs.
• Accurate, thorough documentation and effective communication with staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and complete inquiry forms for new admissions.
• Review admission packets to ensure criteria are met.
• Maintain intake logs and collect data for QA and QAPI.
• Coordinate with physicians and Director of Nursing on potential admissions.
• Compile insurance information and assemble patient charts.
