The role involves reviewing packets, managing logs, and communicating with physicians and nursing leadership, with a shift pattern 6A-2P Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work with minimal supervision; organized and self-disciplined.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• 2–3 years psychiatric admissions experience preferred (not required); LPN preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Manage intake inquiries and forms.
• Review referral packets for admission criteria.
• Maintain intake logs and QAPI intake data.
• Coordinate admission-related communication with physicians and the Director of Nursing.
• Prepare new-admit documentation (face sheets/demographics, episodes of care, insurance details) and assemble patient charts.
• Complete insurance verification once a physician accepts the patient.
