Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Nutritional Services Aide to support the Food Service Department with food preparation, meal service, and patient/staff cleanup.

The role requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, stay organized, and stand or lift up to 50 lbs during an 8-hour shift; ServSafe certification is preferred or will be pursued through the health department.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of sanitation and infection control techniques preferred; ServSafe certification through health department.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and walk for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Service Department with some food preparation, serving meals and cleanup for patients and staff.
• Perform kitchen and dining room housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
