Job summary

Qualifications

• Some previous experience as a waitress or food service worker is desirable.
• Able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions, including some calculations.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation, safety, and attractive food service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve salads and desserts using standardized recipes.
• Set up trays quickly and accurately according to the posted menu.
• Deliver trays to resident areas and assist with tray distribution as required.
• Clear trays and wash soiled dishware; maintain clean work areas and equipment.
• Adhere to Standard Precautions, dietary schedules, and HIPAA confidentiality.
