Job summary

Arbors at Minerva in Ohio is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to assist with the preparation and service of meals for residents and staff, following proper food handling and safety techniques.

You will follow the planned menu, use standardized recipes, deliver meals on time, label and store items, keep the area clean, and report equipment or temperature issues to the supervisor. A tenth-grade education is desirable, and ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Tenth grade or above desirable.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the menu and events.
• Uses standardized recipes and ensures meals are attractive and appetizing.
• Delivers meals on time to designated areas following the planned schedule.
• Maintains proper food temperatures and logs temperatures as required.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly and keeps work areas clean.
• Assists in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for food and supplies.
