Job summary

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak is seeking a part-time EKG technician for evening shifts. You will perform electrocardiograms in multiple settings, maintain equipment, and handle related clerical tasks, ensuring accurate EPIC orders and charge capture. The role runs 2:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of EKG training program.
• Six months of experience as an EKG technician (preferred).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Electrocardiograms in a variety of settings (outpatient, ED, in-house).
• Maintains EKG equipment and inventories.
• Completes all test orders in EPIC to ensure charges are processed.
• Performs clerical duties such as computer entry, filing, recording, and mailing reports.
