Job summary

TriHealth is seeking an Emergency Department & Electrocardiography Tech at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, OH. The role provides essential support for ED operations, including EKG performance, specimen collection, and patient transport, under RN supervision.

The position is part-time (.6 FTE) with Evening shifts onsite. Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong communication, and reliability to help maintain safe, efficient patient care and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document basic patient care procedures to support safe and efficient ED operations.
• Transcribe verbal orders, perform EKGs, and submit tracings into EMR, ensuring timely diagnostics.
• Collect blood specimens within competency guidelines.
• Transport patients safely and promptly, supporting throughput and patient flow.
• Maintain a safe environment by identifying hazards and following infection control procedures.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental tasks to ensure department readiness.
• Communicate clearly, respectfully, and collaboratively with staff, patients, and families to enhance care quality.
