Job summary

TriHealth is seeking an Emergency Department & Electrocardiography Tech at Bethesda North Hospital. The role supports ED operations, performs EKGs, collects specimens, transports patients, and maintains a safe environment.

You will work evenings on a part-time basis, onsite in Montgomery, OH, collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other care teams. The position emphasizes safety, infection control, and reliable task execution, with opportunities to engage in preceptor programs and unit-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; safety protocols must be followed.
• Strong communication skills and reliability in completing tasks.
• Infection control procedures and chain-of-command must be observed.
• Experience with EMR or Tracemaster is a plus.
• Experience performing EKGs is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document basic patient care to support ED operations.
• Transcribe verbal orders, perform EKGs, and submit tracings in EMR/Tracemaster.
• Collect blood specimens within competency guidelines.
• Transport patients safely to support throughput and flow.
• Identify hazards and follow infection control procedures; file safety reports as needed.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental tasks; maintain EKG cart and stock.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with staff, patients, and families.
