Job summary

Dohrn Transfer Company, LLC is seeking a Part Time Dockworker at our Evansville, IN terminal. Pay starts at $22.67/hour with a $26.52/hour milestone after one year, working Monday through Friday from 5pm to 10pm.

Responsibilities include moving freight by hand or with forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, and ensuring DOT conformity. Candidates must meet age and education requirements and pass safety screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Convey freight to and from trailers and storage areas by hand or with forklifts and hand trucks.
• Load and unload freight and secure items on trucks as per DOT requirements.
• Follow loading instructions and maintain safety standards on the dock.
